Methamphetamine Lab clean up
Meth is often made in makeshift laboratories such as rented housing,
hotel rooms, even inside vehicles. The process of "cooking" meth is extremely dangerous and can form environmental chemical residues in the air and on surfaces. The State of TN requires strict and specific cleanup and decontamination procedures performed by State Certified Cleanup Contractors. We have been certified through the State of TN since 2005 when they first initiated their Meth Free Tennessee program.

Asbestos
Asbestos is a fibrous material that has been used in several thousand different products and applications as early as the Ancient Greeks, Classical and Medieval times and as early as the late 19th Century, Asbestos was used in the first forms of insulation.

The banning of use of Asbestos in some products spans the period from the early 1970's thru the present however homes or buildings constructed prior to this time may still contain Asbestos Containing Materials. If these materials have to be removed due to some form of damage i.e. water or flood, fire, or just a remodeling project, certain applications and procedures must be followed by Certified Asbestos Abatement professionals.

Exposure to Asbestos Fibers can cause Mesothelioma or other forms of lung cancer. Richey Restoration employees are trained and certified at the supervisor level for Asbestos Abatement.

Consulting and Assessments

Are you considering the purchase of an existing home but need to know what may be lurking underneath or behind the walls? We will do full assessments of the condition of a property pertaining to indoor air quality, drainage or mold.

Our assessments include digital Thermal Imaging which will detect water or moisture under floorcoverings or inside walls that cannot be seen with the naked eye. We conduct full crawlspace crawls to detect ground water intrusions or mold growth. Our assessment reports are complete with photos, baseline field testing results and written recommendations with quotes. These reports can be invaluable in negotiating purchasing terms.
